Prof. Dr. Ir. Abdul Rauf, M.P., born in Binjai on September 17, 1959, is an Agrotechnology lecturer at the Universitas Sumatera Utara specializing in Soil and Water Conservation and Watershed Management. He completed his final education at the Doctoral Program in Soil Science at IPB in 2004.

As a professor, Prof. Dr. Ir. Abdul Rauf has contributed significantly to developing agrotechnology science, especially in soil and water conservation and watershed management. His dedication to education, research, and application of science reflects a commitment to agricultural sustainability and environmental conservation at the Universitas Sumatera Utara.
